I hope for the day when psychobabble will be placed where it belongs with the psychic hotlines . Even as a pscyh major in my twenties I could smell the rot of bull**** beneath the mask of this "profession" .

I studied psychology also in my younger years, and was totally unimpressed by the Freudian BS, and was not that much less unimpressed by the many other US psychology gurus from the 1960s-70s who were not Freudian but were also not much more than charismatic men with appealing ideas, who are still taught about in undergrad psychology texts. Why is crap allowed to linger?
