If you've inherited the gene for male pattern baldness, and you've also inherited a gene for having an oddly-shaped head, and you've also inherited a Y chromosome, you're outta luck buddy!

Yer Honor, I plead guilty to all three counts. I shaved my head once, to see what it would look like. It was ugly. I'm very dolichocephalic, with a bump on the top of the head. Fortunately, I ain't quite bald on top yet, the hair is just a bit thin.
With any luck, I'll die from a stroke induced by cussing at people on the Internet before my head looks really ugly.
You have expanded my vocabulary! I think my cephalic index would be low like yours, but instead of a bump on the top I've got a dip in the middle. Many years ago I went to a family reunion, and I saw an old bloke who had a head like the bulging cranium of your stereotypical "little green man". I find that family reunions are always interesting.
For a while I've been pondering a pet theory about a matter of human genetics, and I was seriously doubting whether one could really find specimens of human clinocephaly out there in the real world, (as opposed to in medical textbooks). Then I went out to a social obligation and guess what I spotted there? I did my best to avoid staring.
Well, saddlehead, you did that just to get one up on me, dintcha? Now, I too know one more word, having just looked it up.
Actually, my head isn't a saddlehead (unlike the gentleman the other night across the table). No, my dip in the head goes lengthwise at the back, not across the middle of the head. There probably is a proper scientific term for it. I feel inadequate because I don't know what it is.
Checking oddly-shaped heads of bald blokes is one of the few things that make going out to social occasions worthwhile for me.
