Lili's disapproving thought of the day
No Nutella on my shopping list for as long as it contains unspecified vegetable oil or palm oil! I do not buy products with palm oil as an ingredient, because I care about orangutan habitats. I'll be looking for alternative products that don't contain or potentially contain palm oil.

Good on ya, Ma'am! I suspect palm oil is bad for you, except in soap, and I just _lurve_ orangutans, may their tribe increase!
Also, unlike chimps, who are (sadly) the most human-like of the great apes, they are unlikely to bite your face off. (and rip yer nuts off, if you are a boy-type human)
I've read that orangs will hunt and eat smaller monkeys if there is no fruit to eat. We can hardly expect other primates to behave better than we do.
I am reminded of the most recent horror in the next county (Miami-Dade), in which some guy got nekkid and crazy, and proceeded to bite some homeless guy's face mostly off.
We all have our inner chimp, I believe, but it's just closer to the surface in some than in others. It seems the guy in question had been doing a drug which is just about guaranteed to bring out one's inner chimp. When the policeman shot that guy once, he just looked up, growled, and resumed biting the other guy's face off. It took multiple shots to put him down.
One of the reasons I go to church is to try to suppress my nasty monkey tendencies.
I'll bet the hippie clowns who argue that drugs should be legalized haven't had a lot to say about that horrible incident.
