Lili's question for the day

Has a skeptical paper or letter or other form of document about Daniel Tammet ever been published in a peer-reviewed journal?

There's another paper discussing Tammet recently published:

"Veridical mapping in savant abilities, absolute pitch, and synesthesia: An autism case study"

Tammet's case is again discussed without the slightest hint of skepticism or critical thinking. So the answer to your question of the day remains: "Not yet".

Thanks for the tip, Tomas.

We know that as early as July 2005 the was skepticism expressed online about Tammet, as noted by Jon Sutton in a review of "The Boy with the Amazing Brain" (sic) in The Psychologist, and we know that some of that was written by Ben Pridmore. Those scientists certainly take a while to catch on.
